An Evening with Celebrity Planner, Donnie Brown

On November 17, Elegant Imagery and the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne hosted a wonderful event in honor of Style Network’s Celebrity Wedding Planner, Donnie Brown. Brides and vendors were all invited to attend to hear him speak on his experiences and to hear his tips – afterward, we were treated to fantastic hors d’oeurvres, cakes, drinks and a book signing with Donnie himself.

The night was wonderfully executed and the decor and food was phenomenal. Lisa & I enjoyed hanging out with other vendors and listening to Donnie speak. After having watched Donnie on “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?” it was such a pleasure to sit down and have a quick chat with him as he signed our books.

Thank you to Victoria from Elegant Imagery for the invite and to all the other vendors who took care of us through the night. We truly enjoyed ourselves! Thanks to Photolocity for the pictures!

April + Stephen’s Southern Style Wedding

I had been looking forward to April & Stephen’s wedding since LAST October … and since they moved away to the other side of the country, it’s been a lot more crazy around here. Seeing April’s vision come together was awesome … and seeing her in her amazing dress was hard to wait for (probably harder for Stephen). Not only could I not wait to see the couple on their day but I looked forward to a fabulous day with fabulous vendors.

April & Stephen are absolutely GORGEOUS together and seeing their love during their ceremony was a beautiful thing. They are such a fun, laid back couple and I feel super honored that they chose us to be a part of their day. I can’t appreciate April’s graciousness enough and I LOVED how much fun they had at their wedding. We love watching the couple, their bridal party and families party it up … and that’s exactly what they did! Thanks so much for having us you two! God Bless you both and I hope everything is going wonderfully out in California!

1. Tell us your company history/bio.

Al Dee Productions is a high quality Production Company that provides entertainment, Photography, Video and Lighting for private events in Orlando and the state of Florida.

The business had humble beginnings when founded in 2004. Since then we have enjoyed exceptional growth, earning a well deserved reputation for providing unforgettable events. We currently operate from our headquarters at 110 N. Orlando ave Maitland FL 32751 suite 11. We are recommended by Hotels, Country Clubs and event professionals across the state. Most importantly, our loyal customers rave about the personal service they receive, & the excellent quality of our work.

2. What is the best part of what you do? Watching people enjoy the music I am playing.

3. What is the best piece of advice you could give any bride (& groom)? The best advice I could give is: “It’s your wedding. It should be special. Don’t settle with anybody or anything. Don’t treat it like it’s not a once in a lifetime thing.”

4. What is currently one of your favorite wedding trends? People trying to be different from everyone else and what has been done in the past. Thinking outside of the box and staying away from original, traditional wedding ideas.

5. Is there something wedding related you wish you could do (i.e., another job, a theme, etc.)? I always wanted to produce my own songs …

Sonaly + Kenny’s Engagement in Cranes Roost Park

When I first met Sonaly, her bubbly personality immediately grabbed me and I felt like we had known each other for a long time. She was so excited and all smiles when she talked about her pink vision of a wedding and when she talked about her fiance, Kenny and his “wow” factor. Getting to know these two has been a joy and over the remaining months before their April 2011 wedding, I just know it’s going to get better. I decided to go to their engagement shoot with Roozbeh & Angel from Distinct Concept Photography and learned a bit more about this perfectly matched couple … for one, Kenny proposed to Sonaly during Christmas time at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.

I will share more later but check out these beautiful pictures from their shoot. They complement each other so wonderfully and it shows in their photos. Love you guys.

Susana + David’s Lake Mary Wedding

Susana & David were married on an absolutely GORGEOUS day – October 8, 2010. Before their ceremony at the Lake Mary Events Center, Susana shared a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with her family and future husband while wearing her traditional Chinese gown. She looked so beautiful in both her red dress as well as her wedding gown.
